Terms of Service

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use Parkd.
• You must be a resident of India or using the platform from within India.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You may not create more than one account per person without prior written consent from Parkd.

Parkd is a two-sided marketplace that connects parking space owners (“Owners”) with drivers seeking parking (“Renters”). Parkd is not a parking operator and does not own or manage any parking spaces listed on the platform.

Parkd acts as a technology intermediary. The parking agreement is formed directly between the Owner and the Renter upon booking confirmation. Parkd is not a party to that agreement.

If you list a parking space on Parkd, you agree to:

• Ensure all listing information — address, pricing, availability, photographs, and amenities — is accurate and kept up to date.
• Own or have the legal right to sub-let the parking space. You must not list spaces you do not control.
• Provide the confirmed Renter access to the space for the full duration of their booking.
• Not cancel confirmed bookings except in genuine emergencies. Repeated cancellations may result in listing suspension.
• Comply with all applicable local laws, housing society rules, and municipal regulations governing the sub-letting of parking spaces.
• Not charge the Renter any amount beyond what is stated in the listing.
• Maintain the parking space in a safe and usable condition.

If you book a parking space on Parkd, you agree to:

• Arrive within the booked time window. The Owner is not obligated to hold the spot beyond 30 minutes past the booking start time.
• Vacate the space at or before the booking end time. Overstaying may result in additional charges and future booking restrictions.
• Treat the Owner’s property with care. You are liable for any damage caused by your vehicle or conduct.
• Not transfer your booking to another person or vehicle without prior consent from the Owner.
• Use the space only for parking a personal vehicle of the type compatible with the listing specifications (e.g., height clearance).
• Not use the parking space for any unlawful purpose or to store prohibited items.

All transactions on Parkd are processed by Razorpay (Razorpay Software Private Limited) and are subject to Razorpay’s terms and privacy policy. By completing a booking you authorise Parkd to initiate the relevant payment transaction through Razorpay.

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Payment must be completed at the time of booking. Unpaid bookings are not confirmed.
• Accepted methods include UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, and supported digital wallets.
• Parkd deducts a platform service fee from each transaction before remitting the balance to the Owner.
• Owner payouts are processed within 3–5 business days after a booking is completed.

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings.
• Use the platform to facilitate any illegal activity.
• Attempt to circumvent Parkd’s payment system by arranging direct cash payments to avoid platform fees.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce platform content without written permission.
• Interfere with the technical operation of the platform.
• Create accounts on behalf of others without their explicit consent.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension, permanent ban, and/or referral to law enforcement.

All content on the Parkd platform — including the brand name, logo, design, code, and text — is the property of Parkd Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and is protected under Indian intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any platform content without prior written consent.

By uploading listing photographs or other content to the platform, you grant Parkd a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display and use that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform.

Parkd provides the platform “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• Listings are accurate, complete, or free from fraud.
• Owners will honour confirmed bookings (though we take steps to verify and enforce compliance).
• The parking space will be safe, secure, or suitable for your vehicle.

Parkd is a technology platform, not a parking operator. We cannot guarantee the conduct of Owners or Renters.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Parkd’s total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific booking that gave rise to the claim.
• Parkd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, loss of data, or vehicle damage.
• Parkd is not liable for damage to vehicles, theft from vehicles, or personal injury occurring at a listed parking space.
• Disputes between Owners and Renters are primarily the responsibility of those parties. Parkd will facilitate dispute resolution in good faith but is not liable for the outcome.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Parkd Technologies Pvt. Ltd., its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the platform in violation of these Terms.
• Any content you submit to the platform.
• Your interactions with other users, including any damage caused by your vehicle.
• Any breach of applicable law by you.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through Parkd’s support and dispute process (see Contact Us).

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email and a notice on the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you do not accept revised Terms, you may close your account at any time by contacting support.
